Scott Tannenbaum, gOE’s President, along with Professors Eduardo Salas, Kurt Kraiger, and Kim Smith-Jentsch published “The Science of Training and Development in Organizations: What Matters in Practice” in Psychological Science in the Public Interest, a journal of the Association for Psychological Science.

This article summarizes years of empirical research on training, revealing: a) that training does in fact work, and b) how to design and implement it to increase effectiveness. It also highlights the key questions that business leaders and policy makers should be asking about training. The article has been receiving wide-spread attention, for example in the Science Daily and numerous blogs and twitter feeds.
